Bungee is a really unusual contemporary ceiling pendant from Fabbian of Italy.
The lights hang on a transparent technopolymer cable from a ceiling bracket (supplied) or from a suitable piece of structural woodwork such as a beam
The transformer (which provides the weight at the bottom of the cable) plugs directly into the wall. There are two 12v light heads on steel springs which can be positioned along the cable to suit at some height from the transformer.
Using a G53 reflector lamp, the Bungee is a feature piece which is bright and directional making it suitable for using, say, in the corner of a room or for focusing up into voids, or to highlight features, objects or even pictures. Don’t forget, however, that it has to be near to the power supply to avoid a trailing cable.
The overall length of the fitting is 300cm from the ceiling to the bottom of the transfer. This can, of course, be shortened. The diameter of the transformer is 13.6cm.
