This range of lighting is made in England by a manufacturer specialising in replica fittings, mainly from the Victorian and Edwardian eras. All products are hand-made in solid brass or brass and copper (so they will not rust) and finished to order with a variety of finishes available: Polished Brass, Light Antique, Antique or Bronze (all lacquered) or Unlacquered Polished Brass which will gradually tarnish and mellow. The most popular finish, in our experience, is the Light Antique. Polished brass and bronze are only suitable for indoors.
Balmoral is a large, brass pendant lantern with copper detail. It is suitable for large and tall porches, porticos and hallways. It has a hinged door to make changing the bulb easy.
It takes a BC light bulb (max 100w) – or low energy/energy saver equivalent (light bulb not supplied).
