This range of traditional, reproduction lighting is hand-made in England of solid brass. It is then given a genuine tarnish before being waxed and buffed to replicate a restored antique.
All designs in this range are from the heyday of early electric lighting: the late Victorian and Edwardian eras. The high-quality glasses are also period pieces.
This fitting is a 2-arm downlighter with 20cm diameter, white (shown here) or cream acid-etched, coolie glass. It is ideal for a traditional kitchen, over a breakfast bar or over a dining table.
You have a choice of the length of the rod: 15cm, 20cm or 25cm; but, the clever thing about the rod, is that it has a slightly, smaller, narrower rod inside the main one which, by means of a simple turn-screw, can be lowered thereby nearly doubling the length of the rod to allow you to hang it at the height you want.
It takes 2 x 60w (max) BC light bulbs – or low energy/energy saver equivalent (not supplied).
Diameter: 54cm
